Directed by Matthew McIver CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE FINAL PERFORMANCE (45 minutes) MARSHALL’S LAW is a short play that explores the explosive relationship between two ex-best friends and the circumstances that tore them apart. When Abby shows up at Zach’s house, she has no idea that they’ve been tricked by her son Marshall who promptly locks them in the basement. As they scream and fight and remember, they explore their life long friendship and the circumstances behind Zach’s relationship with Abby’s ex-husband who was recently killed in a car accident that may or may not be Zach’s fault. Told in real time, we watch two damaged people who are not only trapped in a basement but also trapped in their separate perceptions as they struggle to make sense of what they’ve done to each other and to accept that maybe, just maybe, the blame isn’t as obvious as it appeared to be.

The Father, The Son & The Holy Sh!t is a one-man show about Shadley's true life experience of getting to know is father for the first time at age 34. Growing up, he never knew his father even though they lived in the same town. They met briefly when Shadley was 18 and then crossed paths again 12 years later when they ended up standing next to each in the bathroom at a holiday party, though Shadley's father didn't recognize him. In 2005, a letter of forgiveness would finally open the door that had been locked shut for some many years and Shadley was finally invited into his father’s life, only to be confronted by a series of experiences that taught him that going after what you want does not mean you have to settle for less than you need. Clearly, family is the reason God invented booze.

Grei has pulled off an inspiring play that gives all of us kids who were ignored, bullied or hurt in any way, a big, fat understanding hug.
